This year Māpuna Library participated in the HELL Pizza Reading Challenge 2019 which works in collaboration with the NZ Book Awards. This a competition where students had to read 7 books and get each one signed off by a library staff member/teacher. Once 7 books had been read, they qualified for a free pizza from HELL Pizza!
